"Major Ģirts Randers arrives to visit his childhood friend Juris, who repeatedly tries to tell him something important but never finds the right moment. During a gathering at Juris’s home, he goes to the cellar to fetch a bottle of raspberry wine and never returns. When his wife Rasma goes looking for him, she discovers his body.
